Join us to CELEBRATE MISSISSIPPI at the 31st Annual Mississippi Picnic on Saturday, June 5, beginning at Noon. The Picnic will feature many of Mississippi's most talented artists displaying and selling their artwork, Mississippi writers signing their books, as well as the ever-popular delicious southern cuisine for "The Tastes of Mississippi."

Bring a blanket, kick back and relax as Jon Paris performs music straight from the heart of the Hospitality State. Governor Haley Barbour will be on hand to bring greetings from Mississippi.

Karen Jamison, a well-known Mississippi artist, designed this year's poster and will be on hand to sign commemorative, limited-edition prints. Mississippi Picnic 2010 t-shirts will also be on sale.

The Mississippi Catfish Cooking Team will serve up Simmons Farm Raised fried catfish plus McAlister's Deli will feature their famous sweet tea.
